Foreign Wars - Thinking Critically
Due: Tuesday, March 11th
Many of China's wars are struggles for power between competing kingdoms within its own borders. But sometimes, as in the Sui Dynasty, they choose to attack other nations. Why? What do they have to gain? On the other hand, what might happen if they fall short of victory? Take this opportunity to think critically about this decision that governments have made worldwide throughout history. Although we are studying China, your historical examples don't have to come from Chinese history.
